Lauriane Maudry
Clarinettist and singer Lauriane Maudry is a creative and engaged musician, driven by curiosity and a strong artistic vision. She studied at the Hochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin and the CNSMD in Paris, graduating with the highest honours in both clarinet and chamber music. She is currently continuing her studies in historical clarinet at the CNSMD.
A passionate chamber musician, Lauriane regularly performs alongside renowned artists at the Villa Musica Academy and has founded several ensembles. She is also deeply involved in contemporary music, collaborating with ensembles such as Ensemble Écoute and Les Apaches. More recently, she has been working with the musical theatre company Maurice et les autres, led by Jeanne Desoubeaux.
Lauriane is the founder and artistic director of Camerata Figarella, a festival dedicated to presenting both classical and traditional music in Corsica. Her programming reflects her inquisitive spirit and bold artistic choices, often blending genres and inviting exceptional artists from diverse backgrounds to create inspiring and unique musical performances.
