Morskie Oko - the eye of the sea in Polish - is a musical ensemble dedicated to performing and reinterpreting traditional songs from Eastern European, enriched by a wide range of artistic influences.
Blending their diverse cultural backgrounds with their classical training, the duo merges traditional music, baroque, improvisation, poetry and experimental music to tell the stories of ordinary life and the threads that connect us to those who came before.
Thought as a collective led by Juliette Beauchamp and Lauriane Maudry, Morskie Oko collaborates with artists such as Martha Mavroidi, Salomé Gasselin, and Anthony Caillet.
Based in France, Morskie Oko has performed at festivals including Camerata Figarella and Errichetta Festival.
